Fortis Giving Day Project at Sanctuary 2011

Fortis BC provided a grant of $ 30,000.00 to provide a new kitchen and boilers for Sanctuary.  Fortis BC employees and their friends provided the labour for a variety of jobs in oorder to totally remake the kitchen at Sanctuary.  Click here to see the project unfold.

This is our origional Kitchen. We converted the lumber room from this old Hardware Store. Notice the heating pipes along the walls and the board shelves. The island came from Central School after it closed.	Beginning building the inner walls.
Installing new lighting, power and ceiling tiles.	The new cabinites are starting to go in.

Giles and Home Hardware Castlegar are working hard to make everything fit.	New lighting is in and we are ready for the new appliances.
