Jay and Joy Myketlyn of Secret Creek Supplies & Kennels present a cheque for $3,577.17 to Ken Potter and Barbara Gibson of Sanctuary. The cheque represents the proceeds of a raffle and events at the 2009 Mad Trapper Archery shoot held June 21, 2009 sponsored by the Mykietyns.

Pat Fontain

Barbara Gibson of Sanctuary holds a cheque for $ 245.00 received from Pat Fontaine.  Mr Fontaine collected the money for Sanctuary by setting up recycle bins in the offices at Teck, then sorting and cashing in the recyclables.

Shopping For Charity Donation

Ken Potter of Sanctuary receives an envelope of money in the amount of $562.20 from Rachel Jansen representing the Shopping for Charity Vendors Group. The group of vendors donated 10% of their sales from their March 28 shopping Party at the Riverbelle. In addition shoppers donated at the door and 5 boxes of food was donated for the Salvation Army food bank.

We also receive food daily from the Trail Regional Hospital and on occasion have received food from various other places for example The Colander Restaurant, Ferraro Foods, and The School District. The Anglican, United and Catholic Churches help us by giving us snack donations for three weeks of every month.
